I’m going to see the Flight 93 memorial site for myself. It’s a 90-mile drive, so I’ll be back this afternoon.
I’ll report on how I feel after I get back. I will be talking to the volunteers and get their take on this.

Another photo essay, but this really is a work of art. And you have to take your hat off to Tantor, who went undercover as a leftist and took pictures of the moonbats throughout the protest. How he managed to pull it off, I’ll never understand.

He’s got 76 now, and the voting isn’t over. Oh, and Kerry was not there to vote.
UPDATE: I listened, and replayed. When they called Kerry’s name, there was no response, and they did not repeat his name and vote. However, he is on record as voting (what else?) no.

When liberals aren’t whining and moaning and wringing their hands and being afraid, they’re slandering conservatives with those oh-so-chic nasty names, like fascist or Nazi. The one thing liberals never do is confront the facts—or defend the United States.
Liberals have constructed a fantasy world from myths that have nothing to do with reality, and yes, […]

Don’t see this every day:
CENTRE HALL — A Boalsburg man was arrested early Monday after troopers said they found him naked and sucking on a nozzle of a kerosene pump at the Centre Hall Snappy’s.
Uh-huh. Okay. Step away from the kerosene pump, sir, slowly. And it gets better. The full story.

In all seriousness, covering everything that is screwed up about the educational system on the US today would surely end up as a book at least as long as War and Peace. Okay, maybe Anna Karenina. But most people, and I’m not trying to be condescening here, see only part of the picture.

Do what, you ask? Why, pass another meaningless resolution, which they have no intention of enforcing, of course! What else do they do, except take bribes and promote terrorism? Here’s the story.

I got this on a mailing list. I have no idea who wrote it. Normally, I wouldn’t post unverifiable stuff, but this says it all, I think.

How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Being Called a Conservative
It’s silly, really, when you think about it, that any reasonable adult would want to be known as a libertarian. Given that the objectivist libertarians, anarchist libertarians, hippie scum libertarians, litmus test libertarians, liberaltarian libertarians, not in my name libertarians, anarcho-communist libertarians, whoever, they’re […]

I don’t often get into spats with other conservatives. But every once in a while, you run into a conservative that behaves — and thinks — like a liberal, and is spouting something so completely off the wall that you just have to slap them down.
Such was the case when on a mailing list, I […]

H/T to Sir George.
Seems the blogosphere raising hell about the crescent-shaped “healing” memorial to Flight 93, which btw is just 80-some miles down the road from here, got the attention of not only the park service, but Tom Tancredo.

When conservative judges strike down laws, it’s because of what’s in the Constitution. When liberal judges strike down laws (or impose new laws, such as tax increases), it’s because of what’s in The New York Times.
