I went through all my links, and categorized all the sites I read daily. That’s the A-list.
How about this? (Warning: I’m a code-jockey, not a graphic designer)
I don’t usually have the stomach to read democraticunderground.com, but every once in a while, I drop in. And they’re even nuttier than they usually are–this one, for example:
what’s keeping it from utterly collapsing? you can only put duct tape and lipstick on it for so long before it sinks asunder. how can it continue as if nothing were wrong? why aren’t people rioting yet? why do so many STILL support the ape? where are the fucking democrats? how is it all propped up and held together? what fog is blinding so many millions to the actual state of the union? what mind trick? what curse?
how long can it stand before it finally implodes like the twin towers? not much longer i’m afraid. how long before the distracted masses have that ‘what the fuck’? moment? what invisible string binds it all together still?
what hypnotic trance are we in that prevents us from surrounding the white house and ridding it of the cockroaches?
dead people are floating down the streets of america, and we all go to church on sunday like robots. what the fuck america? what the fuck?
But wait, they get more psycho as you go down the thread. This, for example:
They killed Mel Carnahan, they killed Paul Wellstone, JFK and JFK jr., they anthraxed Dascle and Leahey. Call me tin foil, I believe those things. There’s something REALLY big afoot.
So is it a full moon? Is it bad drugs? Is it something in the water supply? Squishy toilet seats? Tofu overdose? And why are these nuts running around loose where they could hurt somebody–shouldn’t the CDC be rounding them up with butterfly nets?
Now, you’re probably thinking, “This must be in Californistan,” and indeed, who would blame you for thinking exactly that? But you’d be wrong. Read it; you’ll be amazed to find out where the rally is being held.
I’d tip my hat to John Gibson, if he had a blog.
After four days of getting refused connections, Gunn Nutt clued me in. Alas, A Nation of Rifleman is down for an unspecified amount of time.
I had been debating, as much for my own use as anything else, adding a “favorite links” list to my already too-long blogroll. Kim du Toit would have been on that list, along with the others I read daily. What is so remarkable about Kim du Toit is that he is an immigrant, who became a citizen just a few years ago, and he understands this nation better than most Americans I know.
I have a great deal of respect for him. I hope he comes back online soon.

Darling of the loony left, Cindy Sheehan has demanded that US trooops get out of “occupied New Orleans” (link to her demand is on the WND page linked to here; sorry, but I can’t force myself to put a link to Mike Al-Moor’s website here).
It looks like Lynn Swann really is going to run as the GOP candidate against Rendell for Governor. Swann has put up a website, and it looks from the content like it’s a bit more than “exploring the possibility” of running.
Granted, I’m new to the state, but how in the hell did Rendell get elected in the first place?

Seems the blogosphere raising hell about the crescent-shaped “healing” memorial to Flight 93, which btw is just 80-some miles down the road from here, got the attention of not only the park service, but Tom Tancredo.
The Islamic crescent has been ditched. Call me cynical, but as long as Teresa Heinz-Kerry and George Soros are footing the bill, or a large part of it, for the memorial, it will continue to be an appease-the-terrorists-and-apologize abomination.
