Sure I made a few generalisations, i was stirring the pot for a debate. I never said the UN were great, it makes for a lot of writing to get right into point of view comments. I’m happy to have a chat, even disagree but I get the feeling you’ll just get into all that name-calling and self satisfying smug crap rather than debate. What is it with people like you? Saddam is not evil, he’s just a total wanker who wanted power and control and did anything to keep it. Sure he did shocking abuses and deserves to go down - but evil? That’s just emotive political popularism talking. I suppose you think Communists are evil too? Sure their system failed and shitloads of people died because of it’s oppressive crapness. Yes I agree that the UN usually need the US to kick their butt on responding to things that they should be doing (eg. Yugoslavian Civil War), but emotive and ridiculous statements as such as that is exactly the same kind of language that terror groups use to describe the actions of the US! - Emotive, erroneous and lacking on facts.

By the way.. most political right wingers I know come from backgrounds like the following. Are you by chance like this:

1) From an upper middle class upbringing and have never had to struggle to get anywhere. Political opinion comes from parents which is something like: “if you are poor, its cos you’re too lazy to work harder and probably deserve it”

2) Came from a low income background and worked your way to wealth and everyone who doesn’t do the same is lazy and needs to sit in the shit cos they don’t deserve anymore. “I made it, why can’t you?” etc
