If Jack Bauer Won’t Run

then I support Laura Roslin for President (if you don’t watch Battlestar Galactica, you’re missing out). She’s got a soft “I feel your pain” exterior and serious intestinal fortitude — enough that she told Captain Adama that it was clear he had to “take out” Admiral Cain, an ambitious and dangerous woman.

A president with the guts to tell a military officer to assassinate a superior officer. She gets my vote.

Have A Free Clue

Apparently, the moonbats are furious because Hillary gave $10,000 (cheap) to Bob Casey’s campaign (for those of you who don’t know, Casey is the Democrat running against Santorum here in Pennsylvania).

So the moonbats scream “Elect Casey!” then turn around and castigate Clinton for contributing to his campaign. And why, you might ask. Well, it’s because Casey at least claims to hold the same pro-life views as his father (you know, who Bill Clinton would not let speak at the convention, because of those same views on abortion).

Ah, the party of inclusivity and diversity! But I digress …

I have to say this about Casey: He’s not as insane as most moonbats in his party. He knows if he comes out as “pro-choice” there is no way he’ll beat Santorum in this state. I’m sure he probably is — but that’s not the issue. He wants to get elected. He can’t get elected here if he stands on a podium and goes on and on about a “woman’s right to choose.”

No. Way. In. Hell.

So moonbats, you can’t have it both ways. If you want to beat Santorum, you have to back a reasonably conservative, pro-life (that’s anti-abortion) candidate. If the right to screw day and night and not take responsibility for the consequences is more important to you, then Santorum gets elected.

Try to catch up.

Finally — The Democrat Platform!

The 2006 Democrat Contract with Al-Qaeda (which really should be the 2006 Specter-McCain-Democrat Contract with Al-Qaeda):

FIRST, we will finally kill the Patriot Act so that no member of Al Qaeda will fear using our libraries to access international websites, access their email, or do basic research on major US installations and population centers. We will guarantee full privacy due anyone who makes it to our shores without question. In addition, we will roll back all provisions that put terrorism on an equal footing with Drug Traffickers and Organized Crime, which we understand greatly insults members of Al Qaeda who consider themselves above drug lords.

SECOND, We will enact legislation to release all Al Qaeda members now held in custody in the GITMO Gulag, while providing legal counsel to all who have been unfairly detained during this unfortunate international misunderstanding between Al Qaeda and America. We will ensure all detainees have options for bail and parole so they can continue with their life’s efforts while the legal issues surrounding their detention are worked out. Every ex-detainee will be provided the services of an ACLU lawyer.

THIRD, we will pass legislation ensuring that all Al Qaeda members will be free from government monitoring of their phone calls and emails with comrades back home monitored without probable cause. Probable cause will not include the normal desire to call home to friends and family. We see this act as protecting US citizens and Al Qaeda alike from warrantless surveillance.

Hat tip to Gay Patriot.
