Washington, Again!
I already stated that Washington (the state) had bumped California and become number one on my “Never live there, no way” list of states, number one for the west coast, that is. And as if to confirm itself as the trashiest, moonbattiest nest of liberal wackjobs on the west coast, take a look at the King County library system’s Sept. 11 programs:

*A healing drumming circle will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. at Golden Gardens Park. People are urged to bring a drum or rattle, and a chair or blanket to sit on.
I think it’s about time to nuke King County.

I think the people of eastern Washington would agree with you. I researched Washington before moving from Cali to Oregon. It is beautiful but the real estate is almost as costly as Cali and western Washington is just as fruity as coastal Cali - with all the self-righteousness but none of the hilarious craziness like the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence etc.
NY Times Editorial Remembrance of 9/11 – More Crap from a Crappy Newspaper
The New York Times published its 9/11 memorial editorial this evening on their website in advance of tomorrows print copy. I read it with a bit of wonder and fascination. Not for the editor’s words of wisdom or for the sophisticated heart felt homage…
[…] Right Wing Nation: Washington, Again! […]
It seems the crap flowed north from California, through Oregon and into Washington, where it really seems to have built up into hipboot depth. The problem is that it’s backing up and starting to overwhelm Oregon.
My parents moved to Oregon three years ago. They wish they had researched the politics of the Portland area a little more before they moved.
Maybe I could send their library a copy of Col. Applegate’s “Kill or Be Killed”.
You know, for balance!
