That’s An Improvement
Firefox has only crashed on me four times so far today.
Okay, twice. Two of those times I got sick of watching it take up all of my CPU and RAM while it froze, and after several minutes, shut down the process. I always have a task manager running. It’s so I can kill Firefox. So what happened to that lean, mean, fast browser?
NYC Educator:
I have problems with Firefox occasionally too. But your internet host takes a really, really long time lately. You ought to give them a piece of your mind, or dump them for someone better. It was OK today, though, I gotta admit.

I’ve been using Firefox for years and have never had any problems with it. Sorry you are.

If you’re on the 3 version, ZDNet has been saying they (sorry to use the expression) jumped the shark. It has a lot of bugs in it. They’re correcting them, but it takes time to plug a bunch of little holes.
I no longer feel the need to be cutting edge, so I’ll wait until I’m relatively certain the platform is stable before I jump in.
I’m still using Adobe Reader 6 because even though they’ve come out with new programs, they haven’t fixed the original problem. New stuff that “enhances” my experience but still is a piece of crap overall doesn’t make me happy.
