Peoples’ Choice Pics

The festival booths (tents) are arranged in a huge circle that rings the circumference of the field in front of the Pennsylvania Military Museum. A little geography. Behind the museum is the Nittany Ridge:
Looking in the opposite direction toward Boalsburg, you see the Tussey Ridge, which extends all the way to North Carolina:
There are tanks in the museum parking lot. I want one. Fully armed.
There was a little bit of everything. Brooms. Knives. Nifty sculptures. Italian greyhounds.
Like I said yesterday, there were sure to be pierogies and haluski, and indeed, there were. Also notice that it’s by far the longest line at any of the food booths.
The pierogies were great. I didn’t get the haluski, thank God. I would have exploded if I had. Scott’s:
As always, Steelers caps, Steelers T-shirts, Steelers plates, everywhere, and not an Eagles fan to be seen anywhere.
Stopped on the way back to see if the range is still closed. It is. You can’t read it in the picture, but that’s what the little white sign says.
