From Rory, whose daughter’s teacher said the following:
You daughter is a good reader, she just has problems with her decoding
One more time: The fundamental problem with education is that idiots like this become teachers.

haha. Several of my daughter’s teachers have also been idiots. Let’s see– one sent out emails to parents that are completely misspelled and also uses the word “irregardless”. Another, at a JEWISH Day School, said nothing when one of the children (then 8) suggested they all move to Yemen because there was no income tax!
We have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Was it a cryptography class?
Is “decoding” teacher-speak for “comprehension”? Is there a dictionary of teacher terms we should take to parent-teacher conferences?
