Hot Air’s headline: Russian “withdrawal” remains highly nuanced. Not to be picky, but “nuanced” means mealy-mouthed, non-committal, relativist, unprincipled, amoral, unfocused blather, like what academics from humanities departments do instead of communicate. “Obama is a ‘nuanced’ speaker,” is a correct usage.
But I don’t think ‘nuanced’ includes blatant military aggression.
(Note: As of the Saddleback session, “thoughtful” was used to mean “nuanced,” as in mealy-mouthed, non-committal, unprincipled, amoral, unfocused blather.)
