Palin saves the ticket for me. All respect to our host here, but McCain's conservative <i>bona fides</i> aren't exactly titanium. But Palin is a great choice. I think we'll be able to gauge just how great by how strident the left becomes as time goes by. The convention announcement and the concurrent bounce for McCain/Palin would have been nice. If and when (ain't holding my breath) the undecideds recognize the inherent humanity in postponing the superfluous festivites is commendable, maybe we'll get that bounce. The problem is that anybody who is undecided is probably a feckin' retard, at this point. I've always looked askance at people who can't resolve themselves between feckless socialists and relatively-less power-grubbing conservatives. *shrug* Nice post, Perfessor.
