Obama also stated he would activate his army of supporters to help with hurricane relief. I live in Louisiana. Obama, where is that help you promised? But don’t worry, us small town hicks are hugging our guns and Bibles and are actually helping our neighbors. I am also sick to death of the Bush bashing about Katrina. Our democratic govenor and the democratic mayor of New Orleans were responsible for those failures. The intelligent people of Louisiana spoke and elected a young Republican govenor (Bobby Jindal) and we did just fine. He’s young and honest and a lot like Sarah Palin. I predict we will see him on the national republican ticket soon. I would like to say something to the liberals out in California who said that New Orleans should not be rebuilt. New Orleans was established as the capital of Louisiana in 1723 and was the capital in 1812 when Louisiana was admitted to the Union. How many times in its 285 year history have you heard about New Orleans being destroyed in a natural disaster. How many times have California cities been damaged due to earthquakes, mudslides, and wildfires? Every community, every state is subject to natural disasters. Shame on you.
