See? Just Ask Me.
I said Obama was too pompous and impressed with himself to apologize. And after Obama stuck his great big foot all the way down his gullet the other day, what’s the campaign response after having it pointed out why McCain can’t type?
You’re. Not. Even. Going. To. Believe. This.
“McCain ‘ought to’ learn how to use a computer.”
Meanwhile, Obama doesn’t think it’s a problem that he’s lost the most important voting age demographic in the nation, and continues to spit in their faces.
On Fox News this morning Obama spokesperson Bill Burton dismissed concerns over alienating older voters due to the Obama campaign’s decision to play the age card against John McCain in this year’s election. Meanwhile, Obama already trails McCain by nearly triple the margin Kerry lost Seniors to Bush in 2004.
According to CNN, in 2004 Kerry lost the Senior vote to Bush by the following margins:
60 and Older: Kerry -7 / (24% of electorate)
65 and Older: Kerry -5 / (16% of electorate)
Today the AP has this as their campaign “stat of the day.”
John McCain leads Barack Obama by 23 points among rural voters and by 13 points with voters age 65 and over, according to an AP-GfK Poll of likely voters.
And that’s mostly before the “he doesn’t use a computer” ad has really started to play.
So is there any group left Obama hasn’t managed to insult? It he trying for a repeat of 1980?
One response so far

What gets me is that Obama claimed he was a different kind of candidate. He was going to run a new and refreshing type of campaign. There wouldn’t be all that dirty old politics of the past. He’s gotten down in the mud with the worst of them. He and his cronies really make me sick. They have made slams against McCain’s age. They should get their facts straight about why he doesn’t use a computer. Also I’m sick and tired of all the sexist and shameful remarks about Sarah Palin and her daughter.
