Those Community Organizers!
The so-called community organizers at ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) are much more skilled at raising the dead than Hurricane Ike was.
The miracle workers of ACORN, the radical left-wing group that routinely breathes new life into old voter rolls, are hard at work in North Carolina.
Thanks to ACORN, phantom voters are also popping up in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania? Yup.
A voter registration drive by a national organization is being investigated by Dauphin County authorities after election officials raised questions about more than 100 of the forms.
[ . . . ]
The investigation began late last month after county elections head Steve Chiavetta challenged the validity of between 100 and 150 voter registration applications.
“I’ve gotten some voter registration forms that are very questionable that need to be looked at by experts,” said Chiavetta, who turned the matter over to the county detectives.
“We’ve had some calls from voters that somebody fills out this form and we send them a voter registration card and they say they’ve never filled out anything,” Chiavetta said.
Of course, this being a newspaper, they have to throw this in.
ACORN National President Maude Hurd said in a statement that she did not believe the former employee in question sought to register ineligible people.
Oh no, of course not! Why, he was just community organizing, like Obama! Those fraudulent registrations just appeared out of nowhere — why, it must have been a Rove-ian plot! That’s it! It was ReTHUGlicans!
By the way, how much would you like to bet that all of those registrations are Democrats.
