Can I Ask A Question, Joe?
Biden attempted to insult Johnny Mac — by calling him John McClane (the idiot reporter misspelled the character’s name). Well actually, that’s ascribing too much intelligence to Biden. What he did was mistakenly call John McCain “John McClane,” and then when he realized what he’d said, tried to turn it into an insult.
I’m with Ed on this one. Bruce Willis isn’t going to be offended. John McCain isn’t going to be offended. And those of us who are voting for McCain certainly aren’t going to be offended. The only people who would find the comparison offensive are the “Peace Now!” types who wear Depends and wave giant puppet heads or go to Take Back the Night rallies and think they’ve accomplished something.
And who cares?
