Go Team 88!

Published by rightwingprof under PA, '06, Conservatism, Politics

In case you hadn’t heard, Lynn Swann has offically announced that he’s running for Governor (of Pennsylvania). You can bet I’m going to be doing what I can to get him in office.
Watch out, Rendell.
Stories on the Team 88 website and Yahoo.

Find Something Else, NYT

Kind of hard to blame this one on Bush:

But They Didn’t File a Formal Complaint!

It seems that a gang of “youths” terrorized a train in France, and while the passengers and police looked on, gang-raped one of the passengers.
There were 20 “youths” and over 600 passengers.
Why did the police do nothing? Well, it seems nobody filed a formal complaint.
This is the result of a socialist, unionized workforce, where everybody […]

More Academic Moonbatiness

Published by rightwingprof under *, Wackjobs

Oh yes. More from that nutball mailing list, and again, it’s Tina. You’ll love this.
Tina: In our seminar, my doctoral students have shed insight on how maleness threatens the learning community, and Joel has written a paper on it. So I’m asking Joel to start a similar discussion here, since it’s been so productive!

World’s Best Dessert

Published by rightwingprof under Food

For chocoholics only.
First, make the brownies — and not just any brownies, but Dinah Shore’s recipe, the gooiest, fudgiest browies you can make (resist the temptation to add chocolate chips, or more chocolate, or you’ll end up with goo):
Dinah Shore Brownies
Preheat oven to 350.
3/4 cup butter
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon […]

Whatever Happened to Common Sense?

Published by rightwingprof under Wackjobs

Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch has released their winners for the Wackiest Warning Labels of 2005. This has been a topic near and dear to my heart ever since I bought a meat slicer whose instruction booklet contained, “Do not use in bathtub.”
Just try to visualize that. “I think I’ll slice some roast beef while I’m […]

More Unprincipled Liberals

Published by rightwingprof under Wackjobs, GWOT

Amazing — or it would be, if it weren’t so damned predictable.
Multiculti excrement trumps all — even beheading or hanging people, or gouging out their eyes.
Can’t surpass this commentary.
